Which sentence use italicized word INCORRECTLY?

A. The dragonfly (\skimmed\) the surface of the pond.
B. When Aunt Hazel was young, no girl would ask a (\fellow\) on a date.
C. The young boy (\skimmed\) his knee on the pavement.
D. That (\fellow\) is rarely happy. (I choose this one)

It's C - skimmed is supposed to be skinned, just spelled incorrectly. Fellow is synonymous with boy, so D would read "The boy is rarely happy" - which makes sense.
