2 NaCl --------> 2 Na + Cl₂

2 mol * 23 g Na = 46 g

2*35,5 g Cl = 71

46 g Na --------- 71 g Cl₂
460 g Na -------- ?

mass ( Cl₂) = 460 . 71 / 46

Mass (Cl₂) = 32660 / 46

M = 710 g of Cl₂

hope thips helps!

The Correct answer is Cl= 710 g

The explanation:

According to the reaction equation:

2NaCl → 2Na + Cl2

when mass of Na = moles Na * molar mass Na

= 2 mol * 23 g/mol = 46 g

and the mass of Cl = moles Cl * molar mass Cl

= 1 * ( 2* 35.5) = 71 g

So, when 46 g Na → 71 g Cl

So, 460 g Na → ??? g Cl

∴ mass of Cl = 460g * 71g / 46g

= 710 g
