for this question you should know that 1/4 is equal to 2/8 so now you can see that 1/8 is less than 2/8 so 1/8 is less than 1/4 :)))

1/8 is less than 1/4 because when it comes to solving this kind of problem (with fractions) if the numerators(the top numbers) are the same, the fraction with the higher denominator , is going to be less. Hope this helps! :)
Example: 1/2 is greater than 1/4.
