Which is equivalent to (6-3i)-(8+5i)

Ok so you put together the -3i with the 5i but the 5i first turns into -5i because the - in the middle of the equation is basically a -1 so the 8 is negative and so is the 5, so now thats -8i and now just subtract 6and 8 which is -2 so the answer wound be-2-8i

(6-3i)-(8+5i)
distribute -1
-1(8+5i)=-8-5i
6-3i-8-5i
6-8-3i-5i
-2-8i
