5 + w = 5^2
5 + w = 25
w = 25 -5
w = 20 :)))

W=20. Find this by finding 5 to the second power, which is 25. Then reverse the operations by subtracting 25 from 5. The answer to this should equal 20. If you still don't get it, please ask! =D
