x + 5y = 12 \\ \\the \ slope \ intercept \ form \ is : \\ \\ y= mx +b \\ \\ m \ slope , \ y \ intercept = b \\ \\5y=-x+12 \ \ /:5 \\\\y=-(1)/(5)+(12)/(5)\\\\Answer: \ y-intercept: \ b=(12)/(5)

5y=12-x
y=(12-x)/5
y=12/5-x/5

The intercept is 12/5
