The correct answer is B) MacArthur, for insubordination.

The U.S. General that was fired by President Truman near the end of the Korean War was General Douglas MacArthur, for insubordination.

On April 11, 1951, President Harry Truman fired General Douglas MacArthur. Truman replaced MacArthur with General Matthew Ridgeway, as commander of the United States Forces in Korea. In November 1950, Chinese troops crossed the American lines in North Korea The United States troops drove back into South Korea. MacArthur wanted to bomb Communist China as a reprisal but President Truman rejected that option. The tensions between the two aroused.
