a)

It crosses the x-axis 3 times, at x = -3 and x = 1 (multiplicity 2)

Therefore, it has 3 zeros, one of them is repeated

The zeros are:

-3 , 1, 1

b)

Since it has 3 zeroes, the degree is 3

c)

\lim _(x\to\infty)P(x)=\infty

The function tends to infinity as x approaches to infinity

d)

-3 : Multiplicity 1

1 : Multiplicity 2

e)

The y-intercept is the point where the graph crosses the y-axis, as we can see, the point is:

_{\text{ }}y-intercept=(0,1)

f)

Using the zeros, we can write the equation as:

y=(x+3)(x-1)^2
