-x-2y=7

x=−2y−7

x=-2/7y+-25/7

-2/7y+-25/7=−2y−7

y=−2

x=−2(−2)−7

x=−3

x=-2/7(−2)+-25/7

x=−3

so

x is -3 and y is -2

(-3,-2)
