An isosceles triangle’s has two equal sides (x) and one shorter side of a different length (y). The perimeter (p) is equal to 2x + y. 2x + 2.1 = 7.5. 2x = 7.5 - 2.1. x = (7.5 - 2.1)/2. x = 2.7.
