Answer: 12.5%

There is a percentage decrease

Step by step explanation:

Time took to finish level 2 last week = 32 minutes

Time took to finish level 2 today = 28 minutes

The change in percentage =?

Step 1: Find the number of minutes that were decreased

32- 28 = 4 minutes

This means that it took 4 minutes less to finish the game today as compared to last week

Step 2: to find the percentage change

(The difference of time took to complete the game / time took last week) * 100

(4 / 32) * 100

The change is 12.5%

1) The percent of change is a decrease, as the time needed to complete the level decreased. (28 < 32.)

2) The percent of change can be worked out by doing:

Original time taken (x) - new time (y) = z
(z ÷ x) × 100 = percent of change.

So let's substitute the values in:

32 - 28 = 4
(4 ÷ 32) × 100 = 12.5%.

The answer is 12.5%.
