Use an analogy to describe the role of ATP in living organisms

The most commonly used analogy in the description of the function of ATP is that or currency. Just as we must utilize currency when trying to buy something or perform certain tasks, cells must utilize the ATP molecule by breaking it down, similar to how we must hand over our currency. Then, if the cell wants regenerate ATP, it must perform a number of chemical reactions, just as we earn our currency back.

ATM is shortened adenosine triphosphate. This is required by all living cells as this serves as the continual supply of energy which keeps the organism alive. In an analogy, we may consider ATP as money in which one needs in order to survive. When it is spent, it needs to be replenished.
