It can be argued that radio's MOST important contribution to American life in the 1920s was that It helped to create a common culture in the United States.

In 1920s the radio introduced a whole new practice of entertainment to people’s everyday lives. Likewise, through the utilization of the radio, people were able to experience a new medium to entertain themselves. On top of that, the radio changed the face of society’s culture through its widespread use. Furthermore, radios constituted a new, effective and efficient mean of communication.
