Then it flows through the large tubes called lungs and the smaller tubes called bronchioles. In our respiratory system, this smaller tubes which is called bronchioles ends in a tiny sacs which is also known as alveoli. In alveoli exactly is the place where oxygen and carbon dioxide exchange.
