Jenny bought 7 t-shirts, one for each of her 7 brothers, for $9.95 each. The cashier charged her an additional $13.07 in sales tax. She left the store with a measly $7.28. Hpw much money did Jenny start with?

It's simple, first you have to read the text, let's start.

She arrives with x

Jenny bought 7 T-shirts

x-7*price, so x-7*9.95

The cashier charged her an additional.

x-7*9.95-13.07

Then left for her 7.28

therefore

x-7*9.95-13.07=7.28

x-69.65-13.07=7.28

x-82.72=7.28

x=7.28+82.72

\boxed{\boxed{x=\$90.00}}

She started with $90.00
