river, what is the largest area he can inclose? The area of the garden is give by:

A(x)=4000x-2x^2 (^2=squared)

2. A texas based company called hamilton's wares sells baseball bats at a fixed price, c. A field researcher has calculated that the profit the company makes selling the bats a price c can be represented by the following equation:

p(c)=1/5c^3-51/2c^2+110c

What price should they sell their bats at to make the most money.

Please show full working out for both questions, ^3 means to the power of 3.
