It would be 8.64 x 10⁴
You have to get the number in units place and adjust the decimals accordingly.

8.64 x 10^4
You have to change it to be a number between 1 and 10. When you move the decimal to the left its a positive exponent and when you move it to the right it's a negative exponent.
