If a baseball team has 3 different jerseys to go with 2 different pants, and 2 different hats, how many different uniforms can the team wear?

The answer would be 12 different combinations. You do this by multipying 3 by 2 and by 2 again. Three times two equals six and six times two is twelve. You can also make a combinations chart to show all the different possibilities. Hope that helped. :)
