however the form of the candle, its size will be increased by a factor of 1.5, so each of its measures will be increased by 1.5, as this is a volume problem, then the volume will increase by (1.5)^3, so the new volume will be:
new volume = 8(1.5)^3
= 8(3.375)
= 27 cubic inches
