A recipe for sweet potato casserole calls for 3/4 cup of milk.Martina has 6 cups of milk.How many sweet potato casseroles can she make with that amount of milk

well the way I think of it is like this.... 6 cups 3/4 cup per casserole
Just think of it this way first- 3/4 goes into 1 once. but each time you will always have 1/4 left over. so right now you have that it can go into it 6 times yet you have 6/4 cups left over.But this is an improper fraction so we need to change it into a proper fraction. Like so: 1 2/4 but now we need to reduce it was much as possible... 1 1/2 So now we add 1 1/2 + 6 = 7 1/2
That is your answer I'm sure- Martina can make 7 casseroles and have 1/2 cup of milk left over

All you have to do is divide 3/4 and 6 The answer is 6÷0.75=8 Answer is 8
