quran is the divine book of law that declares the commands and prohibitions of Islam. sunnah is the practice of these laws by prophet Muhammad

Qur'an is the sacred book believed to be the sacred book of god and written down in arabic of muhammad. The sunnah is the verbally transmitted record of the teachings, deeds and sayings or disapprovals of the prophet muhammad
