Solve for the equation. 2(x - 2)/4 = 10 (what does X equal? Or does it have no solution?)

(2(x - 2))/(4) = 10 \\ \\ (x-2)/(2) = 10 \\ \\ -1 + (x)/(2) = 10 \\ \\ (x)/(2) - 1 = 10 \\ \\ (x)/(2) = 10 + 1 \\ \\ (x)/(2) = 11 \\ \\ x = 11 * 2 \\ \\ x = 22 \\ \\

The final result is: x = 22.

2x - 4 = 40 so I put 4 under both of them and crossed it out 2x = 44 I got rid of the -4 on the left side X=22 I got rid of the 2 on the left side by dividing it and making the answer for 1 x be simple and x=22
