Let's understand this by an example.
Take denominator as 4.
And two numerators as 2 and 3 respectively.

Now, the numbers are 2/4 and 3/4
2/4 = 0.5
3/4 = 0.75

Which one is greater ? 3/4
Therefore, 3/4 > 2/4

So, the fraction with greater numerator is greater
