The correct option is : Square all four angles are 90°

and the diagonals are perpendicular.

To find x and y.

From the figure we get,

The diagonals divide the square into two congruent triangles. It divides the vertex into two equal angle, that is 45 degrees.


5x=45
x=9

Since the diagonals of a square bisect each other at 90°.

we get,


2y=10
y=5

Answer is: x=9 and y=5
