Geometric sequence- sequence in which the ratio from between any two consecutive terms is constant.

A geometric sequence is a sequence of numbers that multiplies by the same number over and over so an example would be

1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32

you could also have

-1, -2, -4, -8, -32

in both examples we keep multiplying by 2.
