Ok... I've drawn a picture to explain what I did, but basically I used the outer angles of the trapezoid to form right triangles and then filled in the other angles based on those... Let me know if you have any questions about it. Your answer is A by the way.

a=115\°
b=71\°

Explanation:

In this problem we know that

The bases of the trapezoid are parallel

therefore


a\°+65\°=180\° ------> by consecutive interior angles


a=180\°-65\°=115\°


b\°+109\°=180\° ------> by consecutive interior angles


b=180\°-109\°=71\°
