Variable y varies directky with x2 ,and y= 196 when x=7 enter the constant of variation in the quadratic variation equation y=blank x2 answer please

the equation looked for is this:
y = zx^2
we need to find the z value, and we can do that by substituting the data provided in the problem, lets substitute data:
y = zx^2
196 = z(7)^2
196 = 49z
z = 196/49
z = 4
therefore the equation is:
y = 4x^2
