Can somebody help me evaluate 2000(0.085)

that represents a simple multiplication, but we can make it with fractions so it is more instructive changing the decimal to fraction:
2000(0.085)
= 2000*0.085
= 2000(85/1000)
= 2*85
= 170
and this way we do not need the calculator nor pencil

Can somebody help me evaluate 2000(0.085)
