I think this is the answer- so do 18x3 beacuse each side if the triangle is 18yards and a triangle has 3 sides! :)

mean is average
triangle has 3 sides
mean of its sides is
if the sides are a,b,c meause then mean of the sides is (a+b+c)/3=mean=18
perimiter=a+b+c
therefor
perimiter/3=18
multiply both sides by 3
perimiter=54 yardds
