The sum of two circles is 80 pi square meters. Find the length of a radius of each circle if one of them is twice as long as the other. What is the radiusof the larger circle?

The big circle has a radius of - 2r
The small circle has a radius of - r
Never mind u guys didn't help me in enough time i only got a 30% on my TESTTTTTTTT

Given:

sum of two circles is 80 pi square meters

big circle has a radius of - 2r
small circle has a radius of – r

Required:

r

Solution:

2r + r = 80 pi square meters

3r = 80 pi square meters

r = 26.67 pi meters
