y=2x=6

3x-y=6

Solve y=2x+6 for y

Substitute 2x=6 for y in 3x-y=6

3x-y=6

3x-(2x+6)=6

Simplify both sides of the equation

x-6=6

Add 6 to both sides

x-6+6=6+6

x=12

Substitute 12 for x in y =2x+6

y=2x+6

y=(2)(12)+6

Simplify both sides of equation

y=30

Answer : y=30 and x =12

I hope that's help !

ok you can use subsitution for this one
since y=2x+6
subsitute 2x+6 for y
3x-(2x+6)=6
3x-2x-6=6
add like terms
x-6=6
add 6 to both sides
x=12
subsitute
y=2x+6
y=2(12)+6
y=24+6
y=30

x=12
y=30

(x,y)
(12,30)
