I have a great love for this story and could go on and on about it. TO be honest there are many sentences tht set the tone as ironic for the subject. One in specific is"She suffered endlessly, feeling herself born for every delicacy and luxury. She suffered from the poorness of her house, from its mean walls, worn chairs, and ugly curtains." But that story contains a lot so there are many to pick from.
