Answer:

The volume of a bed is 2.67 inches ³.

Explanation:

Formula

Volume of the bed = Length × Breadth × Height

As given

Bed\ is\ 3 inches\ by\ 2 (2)/(3) inches\ by \ (1)/(3) inch.

i.e

Bed\ is\ 3 inches\ by\ (8)/(3) inches\ by \ (1)/(3) inch.

Put in the formula

Volume\ of\ bed = 3* (8)/(3)* (1)/(3)

Volume\ of\ bed = (8* 3)/(3* 3)

Volume\ of\ bed = (8)/(3)

Volume of bed = 2.67 inches ³

Therefore the volume of a bed is 2.67 inches ³.
