well it all depends on the acceleration your trying to find. if its the terminal speed of a falling object then its only its mass and the acceleration due to gravity

There are two of them:
1). The mass of the object;
2). The net of all forces acting on the object.
As soon as you know these two things, you have everything
you need to know to determine the object's acceleration.
