Explanation

Everything is always evolving over an amount of time, for example say we had two types of rabbits, one had white fur and the other has brown. If the one that has white fur tries to live in the same habitat as the one with brown fur they will be able to be spotted easier. So the brown rabbits they have the “desirable trait” or “heretable trait” because they can hide from being hunted. Even then the brown rabbit will adapt over time, evolution is always competing, so if the brown rabbit needs to hop higher then over time the rabbits that have the strongest trait will become the new normal.
