Answer:

The system of equations does not have a solution

Explanations:

The system of equations is:

y = 2x + 3.....(1)

y = 2x + 1.........(2)

Note that a system of equations does not have a solution if the equations involved are parallel.

How do you know that the two equations are parallel?

Both equations are of the form y = mx + c

where m is the slope and c is the intercept

If the slope of two equations in a system are the same, it means the system has no solution.

Comparing both equations with the equation y = mx + c

m = 2 in both equations (1) and (2), therefore, the system of equations has no solution.
