$2.60 on white beads and $5.20 on red beads

ok so
red+white=7.8
r+w=7.8
red=2 times cost of white
r=2w
therefor subsitute 2w for r
2w+w=7.8
3w=7.8
divid both isdes by 3
w=2.6
subsitute
r=2w
r=2(2.6)
r=5.2
$2.60 for white
$5.20 for red
