1) Let's sketch this out to better grasp it:

According to the exercise:

So let's find out the value of x

TA = 4x -5 ∴ 4x -5 = 0 4x

AP= 6x -25

2) Since the midpoint divides the line segment TP into two halves, then we can write out the following about the length of TP:

TP = 4x-25 +6x-25

TP = 36 +37

TP = 73
