Question 1: * 1. Rayonnia is buying cans of frozen lemonade concentrate to make punch for a holiday party. With each can, she can make 6 cups of lemonade. (a) Write an equation which gives the number of cups of lemonade (y) that can be made with any number of cans of frozen lemonade concentrate (x). (b) Cans of frozen lemonade concentrate are only sold in packs of four. Rayonnia cannot buy partial packs. How many packs of four cans of frozen lemonade concentrate will Rayonnia need to make 10 gallons of lemonade?

y=6x

b) we get that 10 gallons of lemonade are 160 cups. So we get that


160=6x\rightarrow x=(160)/(6)=(80)/(3)

but that is the numbers of can

if we join them in groups of 4 we get that


x^(\prime)=(80)/(3\cdot4)=(20)/(3)\approx6.6666\rightarrow7

so Rayonnia needs to buy 7 packs of 4 cans
