We have that 6*5 = 30

It helps finding 500*60 because we can remove the 3 zeros, and them add them after the multiplication. So

500*60:

5*6 = 30

Adding the 3 zeros

30000

Maria forgot to add one zero. There is the 30 from 6*5, and three extra zeros that were removed before. Maria only added 2 of them, thinking it was 3 total zeros.
