A random sample of harvested corn showed that 6% of the ears of corn picked were not edible. Approximately 2300 ears of corn were picked.

About how many of those ears of corn were not edible?

Given:
6% of the random sample were not edible
2300 ears of corn were picked

Find number of those ears of corn that were not edible.

2,300 * 6% = 138

138 ears of corn were not edible.
