Solution

Given the area = 21.2264

The shape in question is a circle.

Recall that the area of a circle is given as;

\begin{gathered} A=\pi* r^2=21.2264 \\ \\ \Rightarrow r^2=(21.22264)/(\pi) \\ \\ \Rightarrow r=\sqrt[]{(21.2264)/(\pi)}=2.6 \end{gathered}

Now that we know the radius, The circumference of a circle is given as;

C=2*\pi* r=2*\pi*2.6=16.33\text{ inches}
