hello

to find the constant of proportionality, we should use the formula given

\begin{gathered} y=rx \\ \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} y_1=36 \\ x_1=12 \\ y=rx \\ r=(y)/(x) \\ r=(36)/(12) \\ r=3 \end{gathered}

let's check for another point

\begin{gathered} y_2=54 \\ x_2=18 \\ y=rx \\ r=(y)/(x) \\ r=(54)/(18) \\ r=3 \end{gathered}

from the calculations above, the value of r is equal to 3
