volume=(4/3)pir^3
volume=288pi
288pi=(4/3)pir^3
divid eobht sides by pi
288=(4/3)r^3
multiply both sides by 3/4 to clear fraction (4/3 times 3/4=12/12=1)
216=r^3
cube root both sides
6=r

surface area=4pir^2
surface area=4pi6^2
surface area=4pi36
surface area=144pi in^2
