Which direction does a compass needle point?

A compass needle points to the North pole of the magnet. Inside it is attracted to the South Pole of Earths built-in magnet. Remember North & South. Hope I helped.

It points north because it is made out of a material called load stone which is attracted to the earths magnetic field which is in the middle of the earth.
