It would be still be X. Any number times 1 is that number. For example 3x1=3 and 325x1=325 :)

Answer:

x.1 = x

1 is the multiplicative identity.

Explanation:

The product of any number, x, multiplied by 1 is x.

x.1 = x

Any number multiplied by 1, we get the same number. Because 1 is the multiplicative identity.

Let me show you a few more examples.

356 times 1 = 356

-5 times 1 = -5

22 times 1 = 22

You can see that any number multiplied by 1, we get the same number.

1 is called multiplicative identity.
