set up the equation
2.758
-
1.78
now we subtractas if it was a whole number
8- (0) = 8
5-8, carry over the 7, turn the 7 into a 6
15-8=7
6-7
carry over the 2 and turn it into a 1
16-7=9
1-1= 0
and together you would have .978 km. more on saturday
