You are asked to draw a triangle with side lengths of 6 inches and 8 inches. What is the longest whole number length that your third side can be?

Easy, To make a triangle, you have to have the two SMALLEST sides, when added up be BIGGER than the longest side. This makes a triangle. So, 6+8=14 The other side has to be BIGGER than 14, so it could be 15,16,17 etc
