From the given figure we can see a right triangle with legs p and q

Its hypotenuse is 34

One acute angle measures 64 degrees

To find p we will the sine ratio

To find q we will use the cosine ratio

\sin 64=(p)/(34)

By using the cross multiplication

\begin{gathered} p=34*\sin 64 \\ p=30.55899 \end{gathered}

Round it to the nearest tenth

p = 30.6

\cos 64=(q)/(34)

By using the cross multiplication

\begin{gathered} q=34*\cos 64 \\ q=14.90461 \end{gathered}

Round it the nearest tenth

q = 14.9
