You see is 248,739 closer to 700 or is it closer to 800 and so you just count and see if it is closer to 700 or 800. In this case it is closer to 700 so the answer is 248,700.

739 is less than 750, your answer is 248,700 because 739 is closer to 700 than it is to 800.
